How to Obtain the Blue Tick on Soroush Plus

The blue tick in messengers and social networks indicates the official identity verification of a user account or channel. This badge is provided with the aim of creating secure and reliable access for users to the official channels of well-known individuals, organizations, brands, and other credible authorities, and it helps users distinguish between original accounts and unofficial or fake ones.

Soroush Plus messenger, also in line with maintaining user trust and enhancing transparency, verifies the identity of certain channels and assigns them the “Blue Tick” badge. This badge is displayed next to the channel’s username so that other users can access the published content with greater confidence.

But how does the process of obtaining the blue tick on Soroush Plus work? Below, the general conditions and regulations related to this matter are explained.

Identity verification of a channel becomes necessary when it is possible to create pages similar in name and details to an individual or entity; pages that may mislead users or create risks such as misuse and fraud. For this reason, obtaining the blue tick on Soroush Plus is only possible for channels that fall into one of the following categories:

Channels Belonging to Reputable Legal Entities

Including organizations, institutions, companies, businesses, and official brands that operate legally.

Channels Belonging to Well-Known Natural Persons

Including artists, athletes, political figures, public personalities, and individuals who have media coverage or a recognized presence on other platforms.

In both cases, by searching the name of the relevant person or brand, credible traces and materials of their activities must be available in news media or on the internet so that identity verification and recognition of the official channel are possible.

If a channel falls under one of the above categories, it will be eligible to submit a request to obtain the blue tick on Soroush Plus. In this regard, the applicant must submit their request by sending an email to support@splus.ir.

Reputable legal entities

including brands, businesses, companies, and institutions, must send this request through their official organizational email address. The email must clearly include the channel name, channel ID, and the channel owner’s phone number. Additionally, to facilitate the review process and increase the speed of handling, it is recommended that the request be prepared in the form of an official letter on organizational letterhead, and an image of it be attached to the email.

Well-known natural persons

are required to send an image of their national ID card along with their request for identity verification purposes.

After submitting the request, Soroush Plus experts will review the documents within a maximum of two working weeks and inform the applicant of the result. At this stage, it will be determined whether the requested channel qualifies to receive the blue tick or not.

It should be noted that if the request receives initial approval, Soroush Plus experts will announce the required supplementary documents via the same email address, and the applicant must submit these documents in order to finalize the process and receive the blue tick badge.

Important Notes Regarding Receiving and Maintaining the Blue Tick on Soroush Plus

  • Channels that have previously been blocked due to violation of Soroush Plus rules and regulations will not be eligible to receive the blue tick.
  • If, during the review and granting process of the blue tick, incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information is provided by the channel owner, the review process will be stopped, and Soroush Plus reserves the right to take appropriate action against the violating user account in accordance with its regulations.
  • At the time of reviewing the request, the channel must be active and up to date; meaning that no more than two weeks must have passed since its last activity, and content must be published continuously throughout the week.
  • In the event that the blue tick request is rejected, the applicant has the possibility to submit an appeal or complete the required documents and evidence. In this case, after submitting the additional information, the request will be reviewed again, and this process may take up to one month.
  • After approval of the request and granting of the blue tick, this badge cannot be transferred to another channel. In addition, if any major change is made to the channel’s profile information (including name, ID, profile picture, or channel owner), the blue tick process must be completed again from the beginning. A change of ownership, occurrence of content violations, or deactivation of the channel may result in revocation of the blue tick.
  • The blue tick is not a permanent badge, and Soroush Plus has the authority to deactivate or revoke it at any time if the relevant conditions are met.
  • The validity period of the blue tick is one year. After this period, renewal or revocation will be carried out based on the channel’s status and the applicable regulations. In case of revocation, receiving the blue tick again will require submitting a new request.
  • The blue tick is assigned only to channels belonging to reputable legal entities and well-known natural persons, and it does not include purely content-based or shop/store channels.
  • Receiving the blue tick means that the official identity of the channel owner has been verified by Soroush Plus. This badge does not imply approval of the content published in the channel in any way.
